Contest Eligibility and Rules

Eligibility

  1. Geographical Eligibility: This contest is open to residents of the continental United States only. Participants must have a valid shipping address within these regions.

  2. Project Submission: Entrants are required to submit their woodworking project ideas. Submissions should include:

    • The type of project (e.g., carving, jewelry box, side table)

    • Preferred species of wood

    • Any inspirational links or references to similar projects

  3. Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years or older to enter the contest.

  4. Shipping Responsibility: For larger items that require shipping (like tables), the winner must cover 50% of the shipping costs.

Rules

  1. Number of Winners: A total of five winners will be selected based on the creativity and feasibility of their submitted project ideas.

  2. Entry Deadline: All entries must be submitted by March 1st. Late submissions will not be considered.

  3. Winner Selection Process: Winners will be chosen based on a review of their project details. The selection process will prioritize uniqueness, clarity of the idea, and the feasibility of the project within the scope of the contest.

  4. Notification of Winners: Winners will be contacted via email on March 8th. It is the responsibility of the participants to ensure they provide a valid email address.

  5. Project Completion Order: Winners will be informed of the order in which their projects will be completed (1st, 2nd, etc.).

  6. Materials Cost Responsibility: Winners are responsible for the cost of materials required for their respective projects. A detailed estimate of the materials cost will be provided to each winner for approval before project commencement.

  7. Review Requirement: Winners agree to provide a written review of the completed project, which may be used on WoodToolsAndTime.com and related promotional materials.

  8. No Purchase Necessary: No purchase is required to enter or win the contest.

  9. Not Responsible for Entries: WoodToolsAndTime.com is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified.

  10. Right to Cancel or Suspend Contest: If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, due to reasons including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this contest, WoodToolsAndTime.com reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest.
